  •  Different Kizhis – application of warm herbal pouches with different materials (such as herbal leaves, lemon, rice etc.) to induce sweating, relieve pain and stiffness especially in joints and muscles.
  •  Udwarthanam – a dry herbal powder massage to improve circulation, lymphatic drainage and weight management.
  • Kaya sekam (Pizhichil )– a type of fomentation where medicated oil is poured on the body in a stream .This helps to improve neuro muscular strength and is beneficial in degenerative joint disorders. The same method of treatments can be done with herbal decoctions, medicated milk or medicated buttermilk which are known as dharas.
