Mr. Baiju George
Administrator – Ayurveda

Baiju is one of the most senior and pre-opening team members of Nattika, being very closely associated with the organization since its beginnings. He has a strong background in hospitality, with over 20 years of experience in Ayurveda Retreat Management for several wellness retreats in Kerala. It's Baiju's job to ensure the smooth running of our Ayurveda Wellness Centre by liaising the guests' requirements with our doctors and therapists. With a strong focus on the guest experience, Baiju is passionate about creating a lasting impression, leaving our guests feeling fresh, rejuvenated, and truly satisfied.. Graduate of Trivandrum Ayurveda Medical College Practising Ayurveda since 1989 Being initiated into healing in her early age by her grandfather Vaidyar Govindan Nambiar, a famous Ayurvedic physician of his times, she started out as a consulting physician at Sri Dhanwandhari Madom, while simultaneously serving as an Authorised Medical Officer under the CGHS Scheme. From 2001 on she did her consultations at Thrissur where she also supported the development of an Ayurvedic Hospital along with one of the most revered Ayurvedics Dr. Ρ.Κ.Ν. Νamboodiri. A role model and leader, since 2012 she has been heading the Ayurveda team at Nattika.

Consultant Physician & Quality Co-ordinator

Graduate of Ayurveda Medicine from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science. 10 years of experience in the Ayurveda field. He has been working at Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort since 2013 and is also the NABH Quality Coordinator responsible for managing the safety and quality check of Ayurveda operations. He has been spearheading the special Nattika Essence project that combines Ayurveda and Aromatherapy.

Dr. Arul Susan George
Senior Consultant Physician

Graduate of Ayurveda Medicine form Kerala University. She joined Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort in 2012 and currently works as a senior consultant, also being in charge for training and supporting the therapist team at Nattika and the in-charge of the vast medicinal plant garden maintained by the organisation.

Dr. Nitha Gopalan
Consultant Physician & Chief Dietitian

Graduate of Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Thrissur a renowned institution affiliated with the University of Calicut. After her internship she started her career at the Nattika Beach Ayurveda Centre as a consultant Physician in December 2012 and was appointed as a Diet Consultant in October 2013. She has been part of our team for the last 6 years and authored two books on Ayurveda diet and nutrition called "Diet & Ayurveda" in the year 2015, which details about the philosophy and concept of Ayurveda Diet.

Graduate of Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kollam - one of the leading institutions in India. Dr. Shaheena, a versatile Ayurveda doctor, worked under the guidance of many eminent doctors during and after her studies. She has completed a certificate course in principles and practices of Ayurvedic gynaecology and has worked as a consultant physician in the Oushadi Ayurvedic Clinic and as a resident medical officer in the Prakrthie Ayurveda Hospital in Edappal.

She completed her formal Ayurvedic medical education at the prestigious Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad, Kerala, where she laid a strong foundation in the science of traditional healing. Beginning her professional journey at the same institution, she quickly proved her abilities and went on to broaden her career by contributing to the Quality Assurance Departments of leading healthcare organizations, setting several records through her diligence and expertise. To complement her medical background, Dr. Leshma also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Ayurveda Cosmetology and Trichology, expanding her knowledge in specialized areas of beauty, skin, and hair care through Ayurvedic principles. A self-motivated energetic and highly talented Ayurveda expert, Dr. Ahish H. Pillai is notable for his systematic approach towards everything that he indulges in. This young star completed his Medical Degree in Ayurveda from the well-known Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad. His extreme hardwork and perseverance made him to start his career at the Nattika Beach Ayurveda Hospital from the year of 2023. In no time, he became a familiar face to our guests and is still continuing as their good friend with a smiling face.

Dr. Ashley Joji
Junior Consultant

Dr. Ashley Joji is a committed and passionate Ayurvedic physician who has dedicated her career to the holistic science of healing. She completed her Ayurveda medical degree from Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad, Kerala, where she gained a strong foundation in the principles and practices of this ancient system of medicine. To further deepen her knowledge, she pursued a specialized certificate course in Panchakarma Therapy from the National Ayurveda Research Institute of Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthy, equipping her with advanced skills in traditional detoxification and rejuvena-tion therapies. Dr. Ashley began her professional journey with Nattika in 2024 as a Junior Consultant, where her dedication, sincerity, and compassionate approach quickly became evident. Dr. Aksa Anna Abraham is a dedicated and passionate Ayurvedic physician who graduated from the esteemed Government Ayurveda Medical College, Thripunithura, where she successfully completed her Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) along with internship training. During her academic years at this renowned institution, she gained in-depth knowledge of the classical texts of Ayurveda as well as practical insights into its application in modern healthcare. After graduating in 2024, Dr. Aksa began her professional journey with Nattika, joining as a Junior Ayurveda Doctor and Assistant Diet Consultant, where she continues to apply her expertise in both therapeutic practices and dietary guidance for holistic healing. Fondly called as Chef Joshy, the executive chef of the iconic 'Vapika' Restaurant at the 'The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort'. Introduced to the culinary world in the year 1990 and since then he has been working in Ayurveda & local cuisine serving healthy and mindful recipes to our guests for the last 29 years. He worked in various culinary roles in different parts of India and Europe. He has been credited for introducing 1080 varied Ayuveda dishes at our Restaurant 'Vapika' and his recipes are specifically designed to balance each constitution, with an emphasis on simplicity, ease and sound nutrition. During his stint with the company, he has created a brand name for himself among our patrons mainly from Europe. He has written 3 books till date on Ayurveda and local cuisine. His books 'Healthy way to eat, 'Lovely way to eat' and the recent edition 'Sattva' is an authentic guide of the Ayurveda approach to food and tasty cooking. All of his 3 books continue to be a hot-seller among our guests

Ms. Yogini Jiji

Senior Yoga Instructor

Jiji is our young and vibrant yoga instructor who is comfortable working with people of all ages and has deep knowledge about asana, as well as relaxation and breathing techniques. She was introduced to yoga at a very early age inspired by her father, who is also a yoga practitioner. After completing her master's degree in Yogic Science, she started teaching in our resort and is much admired for her extensive instruction and counselling to guests, while motivating them to find true inner peace and their healthiest selves. Her teaching style blends traditional Sivananda Yoga with lyengar inspired alignment techniques. Jiji lives and teaches from the heart. With intention and mindful compassion, she creates a warm space to explore and connect to the many physical and emotional layers of our self. All students, of all levels are welcome to explore their own boundaries and experience whatever it is that yoga may offer to them. Expect to be challenged, nourished, and refreshed!

Mr. Arun Anandan
Yoga Teacher

A young energetic Yoga teacher who learned yoga from his father Guru Shri Anandan in childhood in the Gurukula Sambradhaya. He has been practicing yoga for the past 12 years and joined Nattika in 2022 March. He embodies the qualities of a Pranic Healer, and spiritual leaner Also known for his innocent and friendly nature that makes it easy to communicate with our guests. Yoga Teacher

Shilpa has been practicing yoga for over 6 years, with 3 years dedicated to teaching. She holds a Master's in Yoga Therapy (M.Sc. Yoga Therapy) and has completed the Teachers Training Course from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram, Neyyar Dam. In September 2024, she became a part of the Rockholm team, inspired by a desire to share the transformative power of yoga with others. Shilpa chose to work in hospitality to create a supportive environment where guests can experience physical and mental rejuvenation through yoga. Her approach is holistic, blending therapeutic elements, mindfulness, and classical yoga philosophy to cater to individual needs. As a yoga instructor at Nattika Resort, Shilpa focuses on building personal connections with her guests. She provides detailed guidance on posture and technique while offering modifications to ensure safety and accessibility for all skill levels. Ms. Abila is a passionate yoga teacher known for her self-belief, dedication, and ability to inspire transformation. Her journey into yoga began in childhood as part of her school curriculum, where she not only excelled but also went on to achieve numerous awards and accolades. She earned first positions in Khelo India and the All India University Yoga Championships, marking her as a distinguished practitioner from an early age. Although she pursued her Post-Graduation in Computer Science, yoga remained a constant presence in her life. Through deep study, reading, and reflection, she discovered the healing, energetic, and manifesting power of yoga, experiencing profound changes on physical, mental, and emotional levels. This realization led her to formal training through Yoga Teacher Training Courses (TTCs) and continuous learning from teachers and texts. Abila specializes in guided meditation, yoga nidra, pranayama, and yoga philosophy, and has a wide repertoire of asanas and therapeutic stretches.
