Our Miyawaki Forest is within our expansive and picturesque garden. This unique initiative allows our esteemed guests to actively participate by sponsoring a tree and having it named after themselves, a loved one, or a cause close to their hearts.

The Miyawaki technique, developed by the renowned Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki, is a groundbreaking method that facilitates the rapid growth of dense, native forests. This approach involves planting a diverse range of native species in a concentrated area, resulting in the creation of a self-sustaining forest in just three years. These lush forest gardens play a crucial role in carbon sequestration, offering a cost-effective and environmentally beneficial solution. Given the urgent global challenge of climate change, it is imperative to promote such natural methods, even on a small scale.

At Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort, we embrace sustainability and environmental stewardship as core values. Our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of Kerala's coastal ecosystem led us to adopt the Miyawaki technique in our resort's landscape design.

Our ambitious micro-forest garden is set to encompass over 300 trees within a 500-square-foot reserved garden area, contributing to the biodiversity and ecological richness of our surroundings.
