At Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort, Diwali transcends a mere festival—it embodies a celebration of unity, tradition and cultural exchange. Every year, we unite to forge unforgettable experiences that honor both the essence of Diwali and the spirit of our vibrant community. Our festivities commenced on the evening prior to Diwali, featuring an enchanting showcase of traditional Indian dances. Our talented team members captivated the audience with performances of Kaikottikali, Thiruvathira, and Ghoomar; each dance represents a unique cultural heritage. Their graceful movements set the tone for the joyful days ahead.
On Diwali morning, guests were invited to partake in a serene, candlelit meditation session (a calming start to a day brimming with joy and togetherness). Throughout the day, our team adorned the entire resort with lights, flowers, and traditional Diwali motifs—filling the air with excitement and festive cheer. As a special Diwali gift, every guest where surprised with a box of Chef’s handmade sweets and a personalized, handwritten greeting card in each villa; this added a warm touch of hospitality. However, the essence of the celebration lies not just in the decorations and sweets but in the bonds forged during this magical time.
In the afternoon guests joined our team to create beautiful rangoli designs outside their villas. This vibrant and hands-on activity not only honored the traditional art form, however, it also brought guests and team members together in celebration of the holiday’s spirit. As the sun began to set we gathered for an uplifting Bhajan session, where music and devotion filled the air. After a stunning beach sunset, the resort came alive with the glow of diyas, casting a golden light over the evening. The magical ambiance was heightened because everyone gathered for a Diwali campfire by the beach, sharing music, dance, and laughter under the starry sky.
